TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That would round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the part that matters. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
