Tab Trade - What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
